BodyTech Physio Clinic's experienced staff


Principal, Matt Jensen has been in private practice in Hobart since 1991.  He graduated from University of Queensland, moved to Hobart after graduating and never left.  Matt consults in persistent pain and delivers education to patients and other treating professionals.  He has an avid interest in restoring biomechanics to pre-injury status and ensuring highest performance. He has travelled extensively and worked as a physiotherapist in the UK.  He has a strong involvement in Rugby Union and has provided physiotherapy to state teams for many years as well as coaching at a state and club level.

 

Jill Wilkinson graduated in 1973 from Lincoln Institute, Melbourne. After working at the Alfred Hospital and having her own private practice, Jill had four children and started to work part-time with the practice.  Jill has continued to work here over the last 26 years.  Jill’s specialties are hydrotherapy and chronic back pain. Jill continues to work part-time spending her spare time looking after her three grand-children, bushwalking and swimming.

 

Ben Davis has rejoined BodyTech Physio and is enjoying life in Hobart again after interstate work and OS travel.  He is regularly hunting waves and fine food around the state and is a keen gardener.  Book in to determine safe and effective ways of working outside.

Millie Shield is BodyTech Physio's latest fantastic addition to the team and has an avid interest in scoliosis and spinal conditions.  She has recently completed a dry needling course and is getting great results combining this and other modalities.  Millie is performing precise assessments of spinal scoliosis and has developed a program of exercises to minimise progressions and ease discomfort.

Annie McGough Tasmanian born Annie is a Level III exercise specialist. Annie has been in the fitness industry since 1985 previously combining both working in the fitness industry and working as a registered nurse and nurse educator. She has a passion for encouraging people to improve their fitness and well-being utilising medical knowledge and experience gained as a registered nurse educator. The focus of her exercise prescription is to personalise the program both land and/or water-based to meet the needs of the client and encouraging clients to become independent. Annie is a recognised presenter at fitness workshops.
