Thoracic & Rib Related Pain

Often a poorly understood and an under treated area of pain in the body. The thoracic spine is the area of the spine that the rib cage is attached to. As such, it is the largest area of your spine, and is often either attributed to the lower back, the shoulder blade or the lower neck regions instead.  With connections between ribs on both sides and the sternum (breast bone) at the front, pain can radiate around the ribs, to the front of the chest or remain localised at the back. The pain can also move between these areas and people may think they are unrelated.  Muscle tension and behaviours can have a large impact on the bony structures and pain and here we can help to address those to help your symptoms improve.
